Founder's Story
Thom van Wijk discovered at a young age how strongly a place can influence people. As a child, he was fascinated by construction sites in Rotterdam, raw places full of change and possibilities. In 2012, he saw a special location in Amsterdam where people came together to work, meet and eat. That place was more than an office: it was a meeting place, a breeding ground for ideas. He sensed that “this is the future of work”.
A space is never just a space. It can lift you up, inspire you, help you work better, or do the opposite. Since 2015, Thom has been at the helm of ScaleHub Offices, a network of stylish, welcoming workspaces where growing companies (4–40 employees) can settle, grow and flourish. No sterile towers with anonymous square metres, but human places with a soul.
